Bio ✍️

I was born with a cleft palate. Which gave me a hard time speaking as a kid. When you talk like a terrible harmonica player (with a lot of false air) your only option is to get creative and find the words you can pronounce. Fun fact: my last name was not one of them.

After surgery and speech therapy, the talking troubles are long gone. But being creative and finding the right words has stuck with me. For the past eight years I’ve been doing it for brands as a copywriter. First at JWT and N=5. Now at Dentsu Creative Amsterdam.
